The session is Sullivan & Gold's first outing for the Northern Irish indie label, Adam Montgomery and Ben Robinson are well known on the circuit from their previous incarnation The Good Fight. They are more than ably joined by Chris McConaghy's five-piece band Our Krypton Son who will record a brand new song ‘I’ll Never Learn To Say Goodbye’. Curating remixes for the release will be rising electronic star Figure Of 8 and dance-floor veteran Dollface Devereaux.

Simultaneously, an internet audience will also be able to watch the record sleeve taking shape; illustration being provided by More Than Conquerors' Kris Platt and design duties overseen by the indefatigable Tim Farrell. Local video artists F12 will be archiving the day on motion cameras and John McDaid from STILL will be documenting the day with gorgeous photography.

Additional Information:

“Yes, we are actually going to try to do all this in 24 hours. Well we're going to give it a go anyway!” said label boss Andrew Ferris. “You'll be able to buy all the tracks via our store on as soon as the session is finished on April 1st and also pre-order the 7" vinyl edition. This is the technically the most ambitious thing we’ve ever attempted and is the result of about a year’s worth of planning. Everyone behind the scenes at the label office has been working their socks off this last week - pulling the final touches together. We are super excited.”

A full timetable for the day will be posted on the Smalltown America website at 10AM on Saturday 31st March.
